- Candidates with higher education status (usually at least 70% average at the undergraduate level; average at least 75% average at postgraduate level) can apply.
- Full-time undergraduate and graduate students of any faculty wishing to participate in an international experience in Israel, such as a minimum-paid or voluntary international cooperation internship, volunteer placement, academic exchange or study of educational needs.
For the International Postgraduate Excellence Award (IMAE) Awards:
- International students who are taking full-time admission and have a valid Canadian study permit pay an international tuition fee.
- This award is usually given to students in research-based programs (dissertation or major research dissertation).
- Usually given only to first-time students (Term 1.0).
- Students must demonstrate academic distinction according to faculty standards.
- Students must maintain the academic standards of their program and there should be no outstanding admission requirements for probation.
- This scholarship can be used in conjunction with other internal or external scholarships.
- Students can simultaneously receive funding from any foreign government or institution (such as the Chinese Scholarship Council, Libyan funding, etc.).
- Under the current IMSA program, grandparents cannot be nominated for IMAE.
- However, a student who has previously obtained IMSA for a master’s degree may be nominated for IMAE.
